So you should be learning some relaxation techniques and practicing them while you visualize yourself going through the blood draw. That way you'll be better at it when your in the actual situation, too.
I hope it goes well!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34753835.post-40385277807966847562007-03-05T21:34:00.000-05:002007-03-05T21:34:00.000-05:00I agree. I had mono when I was 4 and they had to take the blood out of my feet because after multiple sticks and multiple people, they couldn't get it.

I dread bloodwork now. I get anxious and all worked up. I have gotten better with them. It has only been because I havce had to have so much blood taken in the past few years.

I hope your blood draw goes well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34753835.post-22887463046596206492007-03-05T16:32:00.000-05:002007-03-05T16:32:00.000-05:00I HATE them too !I have the worst veins, I am not ...I HATE them too !
I have the worst veins, I am not looking forward to the blood draws.

So glad you are going to cycle again.

All the best.ColourYourWorldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01869194928164916281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34753835.post-90530245394256286552007-03-05T11:11:00.000-05:002007-03-05T11:11:00.000-05:00Okay I'm coming back to say that you should lay a ...Okay I'm coming back to say that you should lay a complaint against those #$%^#% idiots who hurt you before.

I've NEVER had a blood draw like that, even when my veins were non-existent.

If that ever happens again, please email me, and I swear, I'll HELP you lay the complaint.Aureliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691032415028867902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34753835.post-57372599154891406892007-03-05T11:05:00.000-05:002007-03-05T11:05:00.000-05:00I'm not a fan of blood draws either, but if it hel...I'm not a fan of blood draws either, but if it helps, they won't be drawing as much blood this time, which is good. Also, every time I've ever been to a fertility clinic, the nurse who drew the blood were freakin' 4-star.

Most of the time, I never even knew the needle was going in, they were that good. Really, I swear!

And yes, lorazepam is good, but you won't be able to use it on CD21 if you have had any sperm near any eggs, (very very bad for pregnancy) so you might want to think about another drug.

Maybe call Motherisk? www.motherisk.org free in Ontario, excellent for drugs in pregnancy/fertility advice.

Hope it's some help...Aureliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13691032415028867902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34753835.post-13528433550390950872007-03-05T08:57:00.000-05:002007-03-05T08:57:00.000-05:00WOW!
