As an addendum to the previous post
We just got the results...
The second beta came in at 355 (at 17dp3dt). That gives us a doubling time of about 55 hours at the moment. All is still good. So I can breathe a little easier.

Awesome! Count me even happier now. Hopefully now you'll be able to relax a bit, pat your belly and maybe even say a few words to your little bean.
**hugs**
I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am hoping that everything goes smoothly for you!

Woo Hoo! So glad to hear you will be having a little less stress and a lot more happy for Christmas.
You said something in your last post about being negative. I'll give you this little bit of advice...
IF something should go wrong with this pregnancy, and you should loose it, wouldn't you rather you had celebrated the life within? The worry won't bring you happiness and it will not prepare you for anything bad that might happen.
I had to learn that lesson... I felt like I "missed" the first several weeks of being pregnant with Jim because I was so scared to celebrate.
Try to enjoy Chickie. The little one will take care of itself for the time being.
I know... Easy to say, huh? Sometimes things get clearer once you've stared at them for a while. :)
I'm so glad Dr. B asked for a second BETA. I have no idea why McGill doesn't do comparative ones :/ I hope this helps you unwind a little over Christmas - I agree wholeheartedly with nearlydawn. The emotional risks are huge when you start to let go of the fear, but I believed I owed it to myself, E and the babes no matter what the outcome... so very hard, though. Blargh.

Hey Girl!
So happy to hear this awesome news!!! I was actually impressed that you weren't blogging obsessively like yours truly!
I am fighting hard to not be constantly anxious. I'm super nervous and dream about the day when I can feel unreservedly excited!?!?!
My hand is here for the holding as well as arms for hugging!!!
peace
